Event #3 – East Harbor, West Harbor, Middle Harbor
Boundaries:
All GREEN areas are in eligible for fishing. This is the first time Middle Harbor is allowed.
Launches:
Any public launches. Campers can launch at the state park launch. In previous years, the East Harbor Campground launch was open to all. This year, the state park restricts to those with a campsite. This rule must be followed. There are other areas that are pay to launch. You are welcome to use these ramps.

Fee: $65
Big Bass: everyone is entered for Big Bass. It’s $5 out of the entry fee. Payout for big bass will be 5 * anglers entered in the event, plus a trophy.
Payouts:
Top 10% of anglers will be paid from the prize pool after all fees are taken out. OKF uses a payout system that’s the same for all events. Fees include, but are not limited to, scoring system, trophies, insurance, and tournament permits. OKF is not a for-profit organization.
Refunds:
If you signed up and must cancel, you can request a refund 24 hours before first cast. If your request is within 24 hours of the event, no refund will be provided
Registrations:
You can sign up for this event all the way up to first cast. Once the first cast time has been reached, registration will be closed.
Schedule:
Friday June 14, 2024 4:00pm – Prefishing ends. Anglers must be off the water.
Saturday June 15, 2024 5:00am - First Launch
Saturday June 15, 2024 5:30am - First cast
Saturday June 15, 2024 3:00pm – Lines out. Any pictures taken at 3pm or after will not be permitted
Saturday June 15, 2024 3:30pm – Submission Deadline – Any pictures submitted or resubmission of disqualified fish or penalized fish submitted at 3:30 or after will not be permitted
Saturday June 15, 2024 4:00pm – Awards Ceremony. You do not have to be present to win. If you cannot attend and you won a trophy, it’s up to you to figure out how to obtain your trophy. All money will be paid regardless of awards ceremony participation.
Dispute period:
Anglers can dispute the results up to 48 hours after the Awards ceremony start time. So that’s Monday at 3:59pm. Any dispute received after that will be considered but not affect the standings or results.

To receive points towards AOY standings, you must be a member. You can register for membership at https://ohiokayakfishing.com/ . You must be a member before the start of the event to receive AOY points for that event.
Points system is
100 for 1st
99 for 2nd
Etc. Non-members are skipped in the points awarding process.
If you don’t catch a fish, you will not be awarded points.
